These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Soracin website at soracin.com ("Site") and the Soracin application and provisioning service ("Service") offered by Soracin ("we", "our", "us"), operated by its founder from Sri Lanka.
By accessing the Site, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or the Service.
Soracin is a one-time cloud-provisioning service. After you choose a blueprint in our wizard, Soracin provisions production infrastructure on Amazon Web Services ("AWS") into your own AWS account using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and pushes a scaffolded codebase to your GitHub or GitLab account. After provisioning, the infrastructure and code belong to you and are operated by you; Soracin does not run, monitor, or manage them on your behalf.
As a one-time goodwill gesture, approximately 24 hours after a successful provision Soracin generates a launch report (provisioning status, compliance snapshot, estimated monthly cost, scale-up/down guidance, and AI prompts for extending the codebase). The report is provided "as is" and is not a continuing service.
Soracin does not resell, host, or own the cloud infrastructure it provisions. All resources are created in, owned by, and billed to your AWS account. We separately offer the Soracin Validation Framework, a freely accessible research-backed methodology, for educational use.
Soracin's blueprints are designed to be compliance-ready: they ship a security baseline (encryption at rest, multi-region audit logging, network isolation, access logging, deletion protection, TLS-only buckets) and apply per-framework hardening when you select SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, or ISO 27001 in the wizard.
"Compliance-ready" describes the infrastructure controls Soracin provisions on your behalf. It is not a representation that your business, application, organisation, or use of the infrastructure is certified or compliant with any regulatory or industry framework. Certification requires policies, processes, workforce training, signed agreements (for example a HIPAA Business Associate Addendum with AWS), record-keeping, and an external audit — none of which Soracin provides. Soracin does not sign Business Associate Agreements, Data Processing Agreements, or other compliance contracts with you. You are solely responsible for determining whether your overall stack, including the parts Soracin does not control, meets the requirements of any framework you intend to operate under.
You must create an account to use the Service and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
To provision and monitor infrastructure, the Service requires you to create an IAM deployer role in your AWS account (we provide a one-click CloudFormation template) and authorise Soracin to assume that role, scoped by an External ID. By connecting your AWS account you acknowledge and agree that:
You contract with AWS directly for all cloud usage. You pay AWS directly for every resource provisioned on your behalf, according to AWS's own pricing. Soracin's fees are separate from, and do not include, your AWS charges. We do not control AWS pricing and are not responsible for your AWS bill. We recommend you set your own AWS budgets and cost alerts.
All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) and are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store your card details. Soracin's fees are:
If the Service materially fails to provision and you have not substantially used it, contact us at support@soracin.com within 14 days of purchase and we will work with you in good faith on a resolution or refund. AWS charges are non-refundable by us as they are paid to AWS, not Soracin.
You agree not to use the Service to provision or operate infrastructure for any unlawful purpose, to infringe the rights of others, to send spam or malware, to mine cryptocurrency without authorisation, or in any way that violates the AWS Acceptable Use Policy or Customer Agreement. We may suspend the Service if we reasonably believe it is being misused.
The Service automates the provisioning of infrastructure into your account, but the resulting resources, their availability, security, data, and ongoing operation are your responsibility. Infrastructure is provisioned on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted provisioning, specific performance, or that a provisioned stack will meet your particular requirements.
The Site, the Soracin application, the Soracin Validation Framework, our blueprints, written content, design, and branding are the intellectual property of Soracin. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own projects. You own the AWS resources and any application code you deploy into your account through the Service. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Soracin platform, blueprints, or Framework content as a standalone product without our prior written consent.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Soracin Validation Framework is educational; we make no guarantee that following it will result in a successful product or business outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Soracin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any AWS charges, data loss, or downtime arising from infrastructure provisioned in your account, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to Soracin in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. For the avoidance of doubt, this cap excludes amounts you paid to AWS.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account or by posting a notice on the Site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
For any questions regarding these Terms, contact us at support@soracin.com.
